High Potential Individual is a straightforward and unsponsored (it means you do not need to score any points in your visa application) immigration route which permits applicants with an eligible degree qualification (minimum bachelors' level) from a non-UK ‘top global university’ to undertake full-time employment or self-employment in the UK, at any skill level
Who needs to apply for High Potential Individual visa
This visa route is designed for recent non-UK international graduates of top global universities who wish to work, or look for work, in the UK.
You can apply for the HPI visa if, in the last 5 years, you have been awarded immediately before the date of application, an overseas degree-level academic qualification at bachelor’s level or above from a non-UK top global university listed for the relevant year on the Home Office’s Global Universities list

You have been awarded, in the last 5 years, immediately before the date of application, an overseas degree-level academic qualification at bachelor’s level or above from a non-UK top global university listed on the Home Office’s Global Universities list

You have to demonstrate your knowledge of the English language at least at CERF Llevel B1

You have enough money to support yourself

You not have previously been granted immigration permission under the following routes:
- High Potential Individual
- Graduate
- Student Doctorate Extension Scheme
